With close proximity to Cedar Point this location was perfect for our 2 night stay. Within minutes of many fast food locations and a Kroger even closer, if you are in need of anything it can be achieved within 5-10 minutes of walking. The room/bathroom was clean and tidy, and although the room was on the smaller side, it was well laid out and fit out needs well. Definitely will be coming back for another stay.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a great stay at the Sandusky Inn! The hotel was super cute and comfy — perfect for relaxing after a busy day. They had a nice pool that made the stay even better. Plus, it was right next to an adorable donut place, which was an awesome bonus for a sweet morning treat. The location is super convenient — just 10 minutes from Cedar Point and only 3 minutes from a Kroger for any quick needs. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and cozy. If you’re visiting Sandusky, this is definitely a great spot to stay. I’ll be back for sure!
Overall it's an affordable place to stay in a busy area. Sandusky has so many things, cedar point, Kalahari, great Wolf Lodge, and many surroundings areas with activities that it's nice to find an affordable place to stay. The rooms are small but, how much room do you really need to sleep. The shower was great, the water was hot, everything worked, the TV, the AC, the mini fridge, etc. The AC unit was loud though and would wake us up at night, but it worked really well. The pool was clean. The inn was easy to find. It looks like they are upgrading somethings, as the bathroom looked really nice, but the living area was a little more worn. Nothing was really dirty just worn. We would consider staying here again if we were in the area. The staff was also friendly.

I recently visited this location with 1 kid to visit Cedar Point. Make no bones about it, this is not a luxury resort; this is basic lodging, which is precisely what we wanted. Our room was clean. After friends made me aware of this area's reputation/tendency for bed bugs -- NONE HERE. We called the front desk and they assured us they take it very seriously. When we arrived we held our breath... NO BED BUGS. Confirmed. Great place for cleanliness. Wi-fi was included. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water. There was a small fridge and microwave for our needs. There was a TV with cable. It had everything we needed. There was also a small pool, though we didn't use it. There was NO BREAKFAST (none advertised -- so as expected), though there was juice in the reception area. We called the front desk and spoke with whom I believe are the owners, and very pleasant people. If I am in the area again, I will stay here again. Great experience.
Let’s talk about the beds….crazy comfortable, excellent quality mattress. This motel is enough for what you need for a quiet & very comfortable rest. Rooms are small, but the cost for the room seems fairly priced. Our room could have been a little cleaner, but it was not dirty. Sheets were laundered but could use a glance over, the bathroom was clean. It’s in a great spot if you are headed out for Lake Erie attractions. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this spot. Owners were kind & attentive.
A family owned hotel in a nice location about 3 miles away from Cedar point. We didn't have reservations due to change in plans, and were still able to get a room around 8pm. They are a wonderful family that made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Rooms were clean and taken care of and possibly newly renovated. ( 100 percent recommend staying at Sundusky Inn, don't waste time or money next door)
Although the room was tiny, it fit our needs perfectly and was clean! It had newly renovated bathrooms and even included a microwave and mini fridge free of extra cost. The staff was super friendly and we had no trouble with parking! The location is also super close to Cedar point, the lake and the stores. I will definitely be back!
